Training camp begins for GB Women ahead of EuroBasket 2025

GB Basketball’s Senior Women’s team has arrived at its training camp, ready to prepare for the highly anticipated EuroBasket 2025 competition.
Head Coach Anna Montañana will have to balance a squad which boasts both a wealth of experienced talent but also a host of younger players eager to make their mark.
Golden State Valkyries star Temi Fagbenle will return as captain alongside accomplished presences such as Holly Winterburn and Savannah Wilkinson, and will be relied on to help bring through emerging talents like McKenzie Mathurin and Bo Guttormsdottir-Frost.
The GB Women’s Senior team will take on Spain in their opening fixture of EuroBasket 2025 as part of a challenging Group A draw.
They will next face Sweden, who narrowly defeated Great Britain 63-60 in a qualifying fixture in November, before competing with Germany to round out the group stages.
