GB Youth Teams Summer Calendar

After an action-packed start to the summer for GB Basketball, with teams competing in the Women’s EuroBasket and the 3x3 World Cup, it's time for the youth sides to take the court.

U18 Women

The U18 Women are first up as they travel to Lithuania for the FIBA U18 Women’s EuroBasket Division B. Led by Head Coach Krumesh Patel, who also took charge of the Women’s 3x3 team that won all four matches at the Europe Cup Qualifiers, GB have been drawn in Group D alongside Bulgaria, Croatia, Norway and Denmark.

• GB kick off their campaign against Croatia at 1:30 pm (BST) on 4 July.

• Bulgaria VS GB at 6:30 pm (BST) on 8 July
• GB VS Denmark at 6:30 pm (BST) on 9 July

U20 Men

The GB U20 Men’s team begin their EuroBasket Division B campaign on 11 July, when they will face Bulgaria in Yerevan, Armenia at 10:30 am (BST).

Slovakia, Croatia, and Portugal complete the rest of Group A.

U18 Men

GB’s U18 Men are next to take the court, playing in Pitești, Romania, from 25 July, in the U18 EuroBasket.

They begin the tournament against Ireland on Friday, 25 July, at 11:00 am (BST) and then compete in Group A, consisting of Iceland, Poland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

U20 Women

The Women’s U20 FIBA EuroBasket Division B begins on 2 August for GB with Ukraine at 7:00 pm (BST).

The competition is held in Miskolc, Hungary.

• Ireland VS GB at 2:00 pm on 4 August

U16 Men

GB will compete in the Men’s U16 EuroBasket Division B in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, this summer.

They open the campaign against Austria on 7 August at 10:00 am (BST) before facing Sweden, Portugal, and Montenegro to round out Group A.

U16 Women

The final youth tournament of the summer for GB will be the Women’s U16 EuroBasket.

Here, GB will play Spain on 15 August at 11:00 am to kick off the tournament. Latvia and Spain make up the rest of Group A.

The competition is also held in Pitești, Romania.
