Estonia 94-62 GB: Brits fall to 0-4 at Eurobasket
Great Britain suffered a fourth successive group-stage defeat to remain winless at EuroBasket.
Having gone down to Ukraine, Croatia and Greece, GB were desperate to grab a first victory in Milan.
But it was another game that slipped further and further away from them, with 94-62 the final score.
Estonia showed relentless energy with slick ball movement and sound three-point shooting (40%) wearing the British team down.
Myles Hesson led the GB fight with 14, while Carl Wheatle had a double-double of 12 and 11 and Patrick Whelan hit 12.
But with Estonia easing into a 24-18 first quarter lead, their advantage only got wider as the game progressed.
Down 49-36 at the half and 78-53 after three quarters, GB could not find away to counter their opponents.
Henri Drell shone with 20 points while Siim-Sander Vene was the best if the rest of a talented young Estonia team with 18.
GB face Italy in the final group game on Thursday.
