U23 League of Nations preview – how to watch GB 3×3, fixtures & squads
Great Britain’s U23 men and women are in Israel for three consecutive days of 3×3 League of Nations action.
Coaches Krumesh Patel and Kenrick Liburd lead the two young teams as they take European opposition in Tel Aviv.
Squads have been entered as part of a collaboration between Great Britain Basketball and Basketball England to help prepare Team England players for next year’s Commonwealth Games and set about improving the GB national teams’ 3×3 rankings.
The teams play in pools on three on each day with the pool winners going through to a final, taking on combinations of France, Israel’s first and second teams and the Netherlands on different days.
The squads were chosen following a Team England camp in Manchester earlier this month.
Barking Abbey duo Flynn Boardman-Raffet and Veron Eze plus US-based Eljay Morris (Emmanuel) and Tosan Evbuomwan (Princeton) make up the men’s squad with Krumesh Patel as coach.
Abigail Lowe (Newcastle Eagles), Paige Robinson-Miller (BA London Lions), Loren Christie (University at Buffalo) and Katie Bennett (Durham Palatinates) form the women’s squad, led by Kenrick Liburd.
How to watch
The games will be livestreamed on the FIBA 3×3, Basketball England and Great Britain Facebook pages and on the FIBA 3×3 YouTube page.
