GB officials enjoy summer of success
The new international club season has now begun and two of our referees will be travelling to France shortly to officiate games in the FIBA EuroCup Women.
Iain MacDonald travels to Mont de Marsan for a match up between Basket Landes v Cadi le Seu and Simon Unsworth will be in Charleville – Mezeres to help oversee Flammes Carlo Basket v Liege Panthers, with both games on 16 October..
The news cap a busy summer for our officials and commissioners across Europe following a number of appointments to cover various European competitions.
Iain MacDonald travelled to Greece as the GB official for the FIBA U18 Men’s European Championship Division A and was also present at the FIBA U16 Men’s European Championship Division B in Montenegro.
Likewise, Gavin Williams was also in Montenegro at the FIBA U16 Men’s European Championship Division B and Chris Dodds was part of the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2019 officiating team in Latvia and Serbia.
