Cambridge Mask Co supply bespoke masks for February window

31st January 2021
The new GB Basketball masks

Both GB squads will travel to their respective bubbles this month wearing the new bespoke GB Basketball masks from Cambridge Mask Co.

The limited-edition design features the GB Basketball logo, as well as the union flag and colours aligning with the GB Basketball brand. The masks will be worn by the teams in both bubbles – taking place in Latvia and Montenegro respectively – as well as during all travel.

The bespoke masks have been introduced for the second phase of the partnership, with GB Men previously using Cambridge Mask Co’s Admiral Pro masks during last November’s window in Pau.

The masks are built to the same standard as all of Cambridge Mask Co’s Pro range – using British Military Filtration Technology to filter almost 100% of pollution, gases, bacteria and viruses.

Speaking ahead of the deal’s announcement back in November, Cambridge Mask Co’s Founder, Christopher Dobbing, shared the company’s pride at supporting the squads:

“As a British business, we are proud to be supporting GB Basketball’s athletes get the mask protection they need to train, play and win.”

Kevin Campbell-Karn, GB Men’s COVID Compliance Officer, was delighted with the support provided to GB’s travelling party by Cambridge Mask Co:

“For our trip I was keen to ensure the players and staff were well protected from COVID-19 in all situations, whilst also being mindful of the environmental impact of using multiple masks. The new partnership with Cambridge Mask Co is a great fit for us, providing a high level of protection through masks that are both comfortable and reusable.”
