U18 Men: GB 87-85 Serbia
Great Britain came from behind to pull off a stunning 87-85 overtime win over reigning champions Serbia at the Under-18 Men’s European Championships.
Tosan Evbuomwan’s lay-up with 23 seconds of regulation time remaining tied the game at 77-77 to send it into the extra period at the Portaria Hall in Volos, Greece.
GB went as many as six up in overtime before Serbia narrowed the gap to a single point.
But Tomiwa Sulaiman’s late lay-up and another from the line kept them in front for a brilliant victory.
Coach Alan Keane was again without the injured trio of Mate Okros, Cameron Hildreth and Samuel Grant as Serbia edged an even first quarter and held a 39-31 lead at half-time.

They led 57-51 going into the fourth period before GB’s gritty fightback.
Joshua Uduje led all scorers with 22 points, while Evbuomwan had a double double of 18 and 10 rebounds.
Sulaiman had 17 and pulled down 13 rebounds, while David Chive scored 12 and took 10 boards to go with his five assists.

The win follows GB’s defeat to Turkey in their Group A opener yesterday.
They play Germany, who have lost both of their games so far, tomorrow in their final group game at 12:30 (BST). The game will streamed live on the GB Facebook page.
