Olympian Azania Stewart announces retirement

Azania Stewart, one of British Basketball’s Olympians confirmed that she will retire from International Basketball after the two crucial Eurobasket Qualification games against Greece and Portugal. These games will take place at the National Basketball Performance Centre, Manchester on the 17th and 21st of November.

The game against Greece marks Azania’s 100th International cap and along with the rest of the team, she is aiming to take British Basketball to the 2019 Eurobasket Finals

The final chapters on Azania’s GB exploits have yet to be written, as she takes her place in the history of British Basketball and these will be reflected here over the coming days.
