GB Men’s EuroBasket 2021 draw

GB Men will play in a testing qualifying group for EuroBasket 2021 as long as they get through their pre-qualifiers in August.

If they are successful in their home-and-away showdowns against Luxembourg and Kosovo next month, they will progress to face Germany, France and Montenegro in qualifying Group G.

There they must avoid finishing bottom of a difficult group. Germany – co-hosts with Czech Republic, Georgia and Italy – qualify automatically.

The three highest-placed teams from each group, except the groups which include the EuroBasket 2021 hosts, will qualify for the EuroBasket 2021. For the groups containing the FIBA EuroBasket 2021 hosts – like GB’s potential group – the host and the two other highest placed teams will qualify for the FIBA EuroBasket 2021.
