GB Officiating

GB Basketball has the responsibility for the selection, development and support of all FIBA Licensed Officials. These are Commissioners, Referees,Table Officials and Statisticians.

This programme is managed by the FIBA appointed GB National Instructor and the GB Technical Commission, which includes members of the Home Country Associations, Officiating Representatives, reporting to the GB Basketball Board. It is also repsonsible for nominating the GB Officials Group to officiate in the professional leagues.

The Home Country Associations have the responsibility for the overall officiating pathways, development / support framework within their respective countries.
