Intro

GB return to the court for the third and final game of FIBA OQT this afternoon as they face Spain in Belgrade, knowing a win is needed to book the team’s ticket to Tokyo 2020.

The opposition: SPAIN

Spain began their FIBA OQT campaign with an 83-46 win over Korea, before falling to China, 64-62, in their second game of the competition.

GB are familiar with the Spanish side having met twice in 2019. A warm up game in Fuenlabrada ahead of EuroBasket Women saw the Spaniards pick up a two-point victory. A few weeks later they recorded a 67-59 win in the group stages of the tournament, which they went on to win with a victory over France in the Final.

How to watch

Supporters are reminded that all the Group B GB games are streaming free in the UK through FIBA’s YouTube channel. Tomorrow’s game is available here, with livestats also available here.

Supporters can also stay up to date during the game through updates and images on GB’s social channels.
